Child Care for First Responders and Health Care Workers

 

If you are a first responder of health care worker living in Escambia County you are eligible at this time regardless of income for subsidized child care from the State of Florida.  The Early Learning Coalition of Escambia County can assist you in applying for this care and explain the details of the program.  Care for your children birth to age 12 will be provided for at least the next 90 days, maybe longer if the pandemic continues to impact our community.  The following links explain the program further.  Included is the Child Care Application and Authorization Form you and your employer will need to complete in order to qualify for care under this program.  Also provider is a summary list of who qualifies for this program, and a list of child care that are currently open.  The Coalition and Florida thank you for what you do and want to be of any assistance we can.  If you have any questions please Call 850-332-6775 or email sreligibility@elcescambia.org.
